Bryson Lopez Racing

Growing up with four older brothers, at an early age I realized my strong desire to win. In our family everything was a competition. I began riding dirt bikes and four-wheelers at about the age of 5, which quickly fueled my passion to be the best. As I grew older my focus turned to football, and I did well enough in school to walk across the graduation stage of Etowah High School in Woodstock, Georgia. However, all I could think about was competing again. After high school my focus began to shift to adrenaline-based sports on wheels.
I also began to work for my family's asphalt company, Atlanta Paving and Concrete, starting on the ground floor as a shovel man traveling the states learning how to operate all of the paving and grading equipment. Once I learned every skill on a paving job I started to move into a leadership role.
When the opportunity opened, I was hired into a foreman position at 19 years old. It taught me many valuable skills from leadership to finishing a job right. Those skills remained helpful as I began my racing career.
In 2021, I had the opportunity to drive a Pro Truck at Cordele Motor Speedway with no previous on-track experience. I was hooked. I quickly began thinking of ways I could transfer off two wheels and onto four.
While paving a job I found a used Pro Truck for sale in Florida and as they say, the rest is history. I rented a U-Haul and picked it up that weekend. Our family-owned team Bryson Lopez Racing worked hard to rebuild the truck from the ground up. Shortly after it was finished, I began my journey into asphalt racing. The following year I transitioned into a Fury Pro Late Model which I race to this day. It has been an extremely deep learning curve and a challenge that I have thoroughly enjoyed.
With help from my father, Ernie Lopez, brother Dustin Bryson, and the entire BLR team, we are tackling the full 2024 zMAX CARS Tour schedule and other big races such as the Snowball Derby.
